On 12th October the Friends hosted a well attended evening of short films produced by Pudding Bag Productions at the Charles Booth Centre.

On 16th September the Friends hosted a guided walk as part of the Hello Heritage Festival

In August a group of The Friends enjoyed a fascinating tour of Ashby Castle lead by Justin Thacker from English Heritage.

 As usual the Friends continued to host our very popular FREE school educational visits.  

These visits are intended to increase awareness of Grace Dieu Priory and consist of 

a presentation, activities and a guided tour of the Priory.

What could be better than a walk and talk in the fresh air - and it's FREE

In May the Friends attended an event at Beaumanor Hall

In July the Friends were part of the Festival of Archaeology.

The Friends took part in the  The National Forest Walking Festival  

which runs from 19th May to Thursday 31st May 2018.
