University, gave us a fascinating insight into life in the 16th century
based on An Inventory of Grace Dieu Manor that she found, which
was compiled by John Beaumont whilst he was in prison. It gives a
description of all the rooms and furnishings in the manor house and of farm
buildings, land and animals.
