In July archaeologists from Leicester University carried out excavations round the pond.
March was a busy month with a display at Beaumanor Hall during The Leicestershire Archaeological and Historical Society History Fair
and a display by Thringstone School during Ashby Tourism week
Also in March, as part of our Pond Conservation project, the pond and surrounding banks were treated to a good clearout
In January, as part of our Schools Project, we hosted two visits from Thingstone School
